Padstow

On our last day, we took a little trip to Padstow, on the way stopping off at a King Arthur Museum. This started quite a discussion on whether the whole story was all myth or some of it fact. After having a chat to the chap who worked at the museum and reading a few bits from the posters, I was surprised to learn that some of the story is in actual fact real! Obviously the sword in the stone and Merlin bits are a little creative but there was a king who had a round table apparently!

Padstow was as pretty as ever but was quite packed out with people and dogs. We had a look around the shops and I picked up a bargain of a bag. After having a drink in a pub which had a surprising decking balcony (!), we set off home.
