Election day

M came home late in the day and we all went to the polling station to vote. This area is likely to remain Tory but there is a chance it will change so for once it feels like our vote isn’t a wasted one. The exit poll shows a strong Labour win which is good because although I don’t think it will mean radical change (and I am very disappointed in Labour’s stance on rejoining the EU or having closer EU ties) it has to be better than the last few years
