Lettuce

The allotment is begining to produce.  We had our first salad of green leaves on Thursday night - 3 different types of lettuce leaves, spinach, sorrel, nasturtium and flat leaf parsley - delicious.  We have also picked and frozen pounds of red gooseberries and currants.  Feeling full and virtuous.
