Sunflower

The first of our sunflowers opened this morning. The plants are not a giant variety so are more manageable and the flowers are at eye level which means I can admire them without needing a step ladder! 
So the predictions were accurate, and it was a Labour landslide. Here, in Winchester, the Conservatives lost to the  Lib Dems, which I'm happy about. 
This afternoon I went to the local blood donors session. I felt quite faint afterwards and tired all evening. Its rather similar to what happened last time, six months ago. I think my body is telling me it's had enough! I have 77 credits so I have done my bit.
