Chesil Beach that joins the Isle of Portland to the mainland. Another beach that holds such fond memories of my childhood. My dad was a Portlander along with many of my ancestors. There can be a strong undertow here but it was still my favourite beach when we were kids and he taught us well to be awRe of the dangers. The colours of the wet pebbles, some with little fossil prints, made for hours of fun. As you can see, I had it all to myself so I thought I'd share it with you.
