Cashless Society

The top part of this street is almost finished in the refurbishment process of this town centre.  But this lower part is still almost deserted, with very few shops still open.  So the Cash Converter doesn't . . .

On the plus side, I took this with my Sigma ultrawide zoom lens, reminding myself why I bought it and why I should keep it.

And this morning was a period of celebration.  Yes, the turnout for the election was disappointingly low, and the First Past the Post electoral system gave us the usual distortion, but we have changed from a failed party to a new party, with a decent spread of parties in the Commons.  I would have liked a smaller majority, but I'm much more optimistic for the future now.
