Ringmore across the River

We've had a fairly rainy day but the early rain had stopped when I went out to some grocery shopping. On the way home I decided to stop for a blip over the water. I'm glad I did because the rain soon started again and has continued for most of the day, quite heavily at times.

I was pleased with the results of our general election, in particular I was pleased that the area I live in elected the Lib Dem candidate who as I said yesterday was the only candidate likely to defeat the Conservative candidate. I'm glad we can put the soap opera that our previous government has been running behind us. I'm hopeful that the new government can be a bit more dignified. I think Sir Kier, our new Prime Minister, will run a tight ship and maybe we can look forward to more fairness in our society.
