If the new government wishes to have more support from the electorate than their predecessors it needs to understand that it has not been voted in, it is not a Labour landslide. The Tories have been voted out, it is a Tory sinkhole and Labour has a great deal of work to do to gain any respect. I hope they aren't smug and complacent on day one.
