Optimism

Had an ace couple of days at the coast with my mate Nicola. I love Scarborough. I'll back-blip the previous days later, bit tired at the moment after watching the results coming in all night.

Made a fairly early start. Went on the funicular down to the front (extra) and had a round of Pirate Mini Golf (I got 2 hole-in-ones somehow!) Wandered around the tat shops and down to the lighthouse to see the Diving Belle sculpture (extra). Found a really nice cafe bar for a coffee (extra). Added another extra of the lovely view of South Bay from near the hotel.

Had a good journey home, dropped my stuff off and then went out to vote. Spent the rest of the night watching election coverage on telly. I wasn't going to stay up all night but once the results started coming in I couldn't look away!
