Grey Heron

There were 7 heron today. When I approached the entrance to the park, there were no heron on the tenement roof which is never a good sign. However as I entered the park I saw several on the slope. I recognised the little female, the adult male, the one who lands beside the coots and Jekyll. Unfortunately there were no coots. I think that they are now very independant and no longer going around as a group. I will probably be proved wrong tomorrow!
There were 3 crows and 2 magpies.
