Hydrangeas

This hydrangea was here when I moved in. It had some blooms on it last year, and this year it is covered in blooms.

I really need to start entering how much mulch is used on each property in my client book. Even though we spread mulch on a property every 2 - 3 years, it's hard to remember how much was used.

We were short of mulch today on a job. When we did it 3 years ago the customer paid for the mulch directly so I had no record of it in my invoices. She couldn't remember how much we ordered the last time either. We'll go back again in 2 weeks and finish things off with another truck load of mulch.

When we did the property 3 years ago, one guy who worked for me, he said he would go early and start on the mulch using the customers wheelbarrow. I told him he could, he knew how to spread mulch. When I got there an hour after he did, he had dumped about 20 wheelbarrow loads of mulch around the garden, but he had not spread any of it. And he never did any weeding either. Needless to say, I was not happy with him that day. I was glad when he quit a couple of weeks later, because I was ready to fire him. He never wanted to follow my instructions. After he left I found out he had been sending some inappropriate messages to a student I had working that summer.

Another beautiful sunset tonight.
