…crewel work, part 2

in a coloring rendition

fighting another massive migraine - so turned to my - coloring fallback for relief - and found this very cool - crewel work piece reminiscent - again of ones my - grandma would do when - she lived with us - for a short time - when i was a kiddo - i never got into - doing it in real life - but as a coloring mode - it truly works for me

this project is very - real appearing imo due to - how they have made - the background look very much - like true fabric - i’m not sure how - they pulled that off - on paper but they did - then i used some - of my ink gel pens to color - in addition to my regular pencils - which has contributed to - a sort of 3d affect - and to give an - overall jewel like tone - to the whole piece - it’s taken me a while - to complete what with - the complexity as well as - my continuing eye spasming - which seems to be - getting worse every day

yet i am grateful - for simple things and that - i still have the ability - to complete projects like this - it might take me - longer and i may - have to take more - breaks than i used to - however those are not - things to complain about - this may not be my - very best work due to my eye spasms - but it so reminded me - of my grandma it was worth - every moment of those - precious memories coming to mind - and that will always make it…
