General Election Day

I went along to the polling station this morning, armed with my ID (for the first time) as instructed, and voted. Now we await the outcome. I don’t think I’ll be watching all night, although my husband no doubt will be following events closely. I can probably contain my excitement until morning.

I passed three other polling stations on my way home tonight. The first two looked quiet, but the library had a queue of voters waiting. I thought the sign above the church hall polling place in my extra was quite good advice!
