Fit to burst
An early start this morning. We were expecting the gas man to fit the cooker and the granite man to measure up, both at around 8am, so we headed off to vote once the polls opened. We thought we'd be the first ones there when they opened at 7am but there was already a queue of around twenty people waiting for the doors to open. Voting done and newspaper bought, we headed back.
After the works had been done we drove down to the granite man's workshop near Wymondham to look at the slabs and double check that we really liked the one we'd chosen. We did. We then drove up to Fakenham to the flooring people as we are having the downstairs loo tiled which means replacing the floor as the skirting board will be replaced. Floor chosen, we headed home.
After a couple of really early starts this week we were both feeling really tired so we didn't do much more. I nipped out into the garden for a shot of the agapanthus which is just starting to come out; I like the way the buds slowly reveal the little florets inside.
