Boer Slot

The historic castle and farm estate was completely dilapidated. At the initiative of volunteers in the form of the Schaesberg Castle Estate Foundation, they wanted to rebuild the castle to its original state using authentic means. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of tourists and insufficient catering income, it was not possible to generate sufficient resources to complete the construction. The Foundation is calling it quits. The municipality will try to raise resources by turning it into a tourist attraction.
