Comma

Today I planned to go to Hilliers Gardens to look for the butterflies and dragonflies that are usually so prevalent there.  Today they weren't.  How exhausting it can be tramping around with no reward!  I spied a couple of white butterflies on the wing, ditto meadow browns, but apart from that this comma was the only one I saw.  One of the gardeners confirmed they have seen very few this year and said that even the bees are in short supply.  All a bit depressing, isn't it..

Still, at least the election is almost over, thank goodness!  Won't it be lovely when we don't have to think about it any more?  I actually voted by post several days ago - such a relief!

Dearest folks, I'm completely shattered tonight, not to mention rather unwell which is unusual for me.  So I'm turning off my comments at least for tonight and maybe a day or two longer.  I'm so sorry, but I will be looking at your journals and scattering stars and hearts.
