Another day, another trigpoint
Bartine Castle - an Iron Age settlement - stands on the top of a hill overlooking both Mount's Bay and Land's End. Not much of a climb but an extensive, albeit hazy, view.
Earlier we had attended a Penzance Literary Festival event by the author of the recently published 'A History of World in Twelve Shipwrecks.' Fascinating enough for us to buy a copy of the book!
Then finally DS#1's car/pride and joy is legal again and he is coming down to visit this evening for a long weekend. His and his partner's first visit to the house.
