High Force

To celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary we decided to have a little trip away.  We stayed at the High Force Hotel in Teesdale.  Just over the road from the hotel is the path down to the waterfall.  I loved seeing it and also hearing the sound of the waterfall too.  

People can get married at the hotel and it is also possible to get married at the waterfall.  Not sure I would fancy that as it was a tricky walk down to it.  I think the bride would definitely need to wear walking boots or wellies!

Coming back we walked through a lovely wood - so peaceful.  A very nice pub meal on the evening.
