FIRST CROCOSMIA OUT !

Bright but quite cold here this morning. This 1st red flower to bloom, struggling in the cold wind. Cloud formation is lovely when the sun is out, but drab when no sun,.
Hope to get to the Garden Centre this afternoon to get some matting & bark for the front beds. Then I can get a few pots of geraniums which will make it look a little tidier. Oh & I mustn’t forget to vote ! Think it’s just a case of “ be careful what you wish for?” But what will be will be?
July 4th already & the temperature is still low teens ‘ are we going to have any descent warm weather for a few days continuously this year?
My disturbed nights are still a problem leaving me so tired during the day. Must away now & do some preparation for lunch.
