Highlights

Another scorcher today, Euan and I went for a wee drive to Foremost Bowls to have a look at them. Just looking not buying, so surprise surprise when we got there as ten minutes later I had ordered him a set of Taylor Aces in size 3 and flame coloured. A future blip when they arrive I promise but you will need your sunglasses to look at them.

Tonight Cheryl and Gavin were at the theatre to see Dreamboats & Petticoats in Edinburgh Playhouse. Euan and I both had ties to play, Euan in the Consolidation and me in the Handicap. Euan won 21-16 and I won 21-10 so thats us both through to the last eight of our respective competitions and next week we are together in the Four Bowl Pairs to get into the last eight of that too.

We got home from the Club at 10.30 and no real decent shot for my blip today. We were out the back putting some rubbish in the bin when I noticed Bob up on the fence so I put the camera on a super flash mode and got this picture of him sitting up high on the fence the spotlight. A great result all round tonight, blip and bowls highlights indeed.
