Ooh!

Almond croissant and chat with K first thing, then packed the car and set off north. I popped in to see Kt and caught up on dogs, how her brother’s doing now he’s joined the RAF, and other family and friends.
Made some coffee then got the new book group book (The Bookseller of Inverness by S G Maclean) set up to play and had an easy journey (A1 all the way).
I stopped at A&N’s to hear how N’s visit and second interview had gone today….answer was very well! Formal offer to follow but looks like he’s got it in the bag, and I’m delighted for him. Just as well I’d bought the card, chocolates and fizz for him en route!
Last stretch to home, no parking place which was irritating, but got everything upstairs and started all the washing of bed linen. Not long to turn round before the next guests arrive!
Nice to be home, despite some bizarre wet, cold but finally some sunny weather through the evening…where’s summer gone?!
