Beautiful

Beautiful rose, hanging over the wall at Lamb's House. It has a delicate but delicious scent (you have to get your nose right in there). Don't know the variety but I assume it's an old one, since the garden was designed with 17th century plantings. We were on our way to the Vaults to meet up with a couple of old friends from the far South who we hadn't seen for years - but I've known Jerry since about 1967, so the blether was mighty.

Had a message that my great-nephew N has got his degree, a 2:1 at that. A great achievement against considerable odds.
