Dovecote

Went with the walking group from the Carers in Bedfordshire to the Danish Camp near Willington Beds. Part of the walk took us past this Dovecot built around 1543 by John Gostwick, it has 1500 nest boxes. On the other side of the road is an impressive stable built around the same time, well worth a look if in the area. I've lived in the area for over 30 years and this is the first time I've seen them.
