The artist is Helen Alexander-Bristow who took inspiration from Kent’s apple orchards which are a quintessential image of Kent.

We all needed inspiration in our corner of the country. July? Cold, wet and depressing was the order of the day. We went out to buy stuff to make a brassica cage at the allotment and a few companion plants to ward off whitefly in the greenhouse.
