Swallows on the pier

KB was perched taking photos of the unfledged who were waiting for food.
T snapped me taking this shot!

We were in a Polish seaside town called Puck (putsk), west of Gdansk,Gdynia,Sopot and Hel which is out along the narrow spit of land. Puck has a mediaeval square with a typical old brick town hall. We went to the glass studio and watched some glass being blown and bought a water jug/bottle. I'll order some lamp shades from them. Prices not unreasonable and a good coffee and cake shop to boot.

We had a brilliant day, which included a post-prandial walk to the beach, not one of the crowded ones, where we collected some small flat pebbles, which sparsely dotted the fine white sand.

We had a great dinner in a very busy restaurant in a diminutive village. We also bought a few treats.

We called into a wonderfully restored house, now a five star hotel with stables and a park in Ciekocinko. We had a leisurely coffee and desert, just managing to catch the downpour as we left. Not only were the staff kind but we were also greeted by a Labradoodle visiting from Swizerland. https://palacciekocinko.pl/en/
