Berlin skyline

This afternoon I returned to the Victory Tower to do this photo of the Berlin skyline. On the left you can see the Berlin TV Tower, the green roof of Berlin Cathedral, and centre bottom, you can just see the Brandenburg Gate.

The first extra shows the very narrow viewing platform at the top and the gold paint which is a prominent feature.

The second extra was a nostalgic visit back in time to the building where I stayed many times with my late friend. I was last there 17 years ago. Very little had changed. The photo shows the courtyard garden. I met and chatted with 2 of the tenants who of course remembered my friend Paul. It was a great feeling going back there again, and remembering the many good times associated with that place.
