Flowering rush

Endangered plant in Norway, and therefore I'm happy that it found its way to my pond. And actually is spreading rapidly. I had to remove half of it. 

I got good news from Gaza today. Partners managed to give the al-Saftawi neighbourhood north in Gaza city a glimmer of hope when they arrived with a truck loaded with food parcels and dignity kits, including sanitary products. It's too little, too late, but at relief for a short while.
