Surreal

We had some really bad news today. DJ has a spot on his lip which keeps on peeling and the dentist didn't trust it , so sent him to a mouth and jaw surgeon. They made a biopsy and we got the result today, it does have malignant tumour cells, so now he'll have to go to to the EMC in Rotterdam to have cancer experts look at it and decide what the treatment should/could be. Still trying to take it all in ! He has an appointment next Tuesday, but apparently it will take about 6 weeks before we will know what the treatments could be. Hard to plan anything now, including the trip we would be making to Japan ...
