More charity shop finds, and I’m really pleased with both of them.
I’ve always been fascinated by words, so a book about forensic linguistics is a real treat. Who knew that how we speak or write can be examined in such a scientific way that it can help in solving crimes ?
As for the Pooh cookbook ( rather unfortunate choice of title there ! ), that’s a delight too. Illustrated with the original drawings and not the awful Disney version, it’s full of the sorts of sweet and savoury treats that I remember from childhood. Published in the year I got married, so it’s practically an antique.
