Mother and foal

Another day of high wind and at times heavy rain, interspersed with a little sunshine occasionally.  

Passed the field with the foal and mother, they didn't come running over, but the foal was very alert to us although he stayed at his mother's side, and she was too busy feeding to be bothered with us.  So I had to zoom in a bit to get the picture.  Beautiful animals, both.
