Earning their keep

Food shop got done after we took Mr R to work . I haven't taken all four wildlings food shopping with me for a long time. Thankfully they behaved well in the store. 

My sister and kids came round not long after. The young ones were telling me that they really wanted to get new sketchpads and art supplies, so I said that if they would pair up the socks I would give them pocket money.  Harp helped too as she wants to save pennies. I raided my art supplies and gave Mia some new pastels and cayden some sketchpads.  So they were happy. 

I roped my sister into helping me dig holes all over one side of my lawn. The grass has just disappeared from the wildlings playing.  So now there is two boxes of seed down and netting on top this time. Hopefully the wood pigeons stay away. I'll need to keep everything crossed that it grows as I'm not good at anything garden related. 

I didn't run last night and ended up in bed not long after 8pm. I was out like a light . I've told Mr R I need to go out tonight.  


Xander has had a much better day. Thank goodness.
