The right name for the 4th of July

I happened to be in a village hall this morning where the polling booth for tomorrow's UK General Election  was about to be set up.

I  had never given any thought to how these were made or by whom, so it was entertaining to see that this variety carry a singularly appropriate democratic name.    Apparently there are other types for sale on line, including the old fashioned wooden ones and there is a global market too, with all sorts of particular and specific demands. .
