En-plenair at Friary Gardens
Goash with Bianca first thing. An enjoyable lesson but I found it a challenge.
Then lunch in town before going to the Friary walled garden - a hidden treasure next to the library. A real gem, entirely run by volunteers with much to inspire. Most of us had never been before, it only opens on the first Sunday of the month. Last time that I went was about 20 years ago with the girls. It was exactly as I had remembered. Although showers during lunch, the weather cleared and we had a productive time. I selected the wildlife pond and learnt about colour mixing and the shapes and form of the lily pads. Looking forward to next week.
