Sunset casts shadows

I noticed this a few days ago when we were leaving to get dinner. I got distracted earlier but remembered today that this would be possible with the sun out. I think it looks great. What a cool pattern.

I've been grieving again lately. The anniversary of my mom's death was three days ago, so those feelings are fresh again. My lawyer also told last week that I might not ever get compensation for the private autopsy company ripping me off (did I ever tell this story?), so that hit hard. Sigh.

At least the holiday makes this a shorter work week.
