Barn Owl...

See HERE for some more info & another picture, if you like. We were away in the hills today checking & ringing barn owls & spotted fly catchers. All for conservation purposes, Bob has a licence to handle the owls, Mike gives him a hand & I am privileged to get to go along. If you ever come across a barn owl contact the RSPB & they will pass on the information to the right people, owls are always best left alone or to people that know how to handle them.
