Beauty is all around us.

Hollyhock flowers.

The Feast Day of Saint Thomas the Apostle.

It was thanks to specific questions asked by Saint Thomas, to Our Lord, that Jesus revealed His true nature.
My favourite one being John 14 v 5-6.

So far, today is shaping up nicely. After a cloudy start and the temperature being 17.5c, the sun is shining at nearly 10am.

I have been for a walk to buy the I newspaper and The People's Friend. I fed the garden birds and let the cats out into the garden. It is forecast to stay dry until 3pm. I will put some washing on the line.

Holly has been energetic this morning, chasing insects and pigeons, enjoying a carefree time in the garden.

Hunter climbed over the fence and will return home when he wants feeding. He is so adventurous and fearless.

The hollyhock flowers in this blip opened yesterday. This is the first time I have grown them from seed. The colour is a deep purple magenta.

I am learning about wildflowers from books we have and a Facebook site I have joined. I discovered what the yellow flower nipplewort is, because a big plant of it was growing near the post box! It is also called Lapsana communis.

Have a lovely day blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
