Off to the Museum of Illusions this morning for a bit of a laugh (Extra1) then a stroll around Uptown in heat that did us in. After we recovered we caught the Light Rail down to South End where there are loads of bars and restaurants and struggled to find somewhere decent for lunch before settling for Common Market (main and Extra2) where I had another dodgy pint from a local brewery and the best sandwich I’ve eaten so far this trip. Too hot to walk so we took the train to the end of the line, back to the other end station and then back to the hotel by which time it was a pleasant 29C!
Pretty done in all the same, so we grabbed a late bite in the local diner, admired the night views (Extra3) and headed back.
