Cedar and Flint

A big group playing for the farmer's market today. Two fiddles, a clarinet, an accordion, a cello, percussion and a bass. There were lots of polkas and waltzes.
This morning I tackled our very overgrown yard. Jim had finally gotten to the dump so the truck was empty to put in green waste. The roses that we cut down ages ago and some lilac trimmings finally got off the yard. He also showed me how to use the weed whacker so I basically weed whacked the whole yard since the mower wasn't working. My arms are still shaky from it. Then he got the mower working and he ran over what I had done. So finally it doesn't look so derelict.
I have just tonight as my last night as a pet sitter. I am really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tomorrow night. It's been a good gig but I'm tired of going between two houses.
