Squirrel in the park

Thanks for the comments, stars and hearts on my last two blips. I am very grateful.

Mishmash of a day, which included a complicated visit to the nephrologist. In the end, all is good according to her.
I lost one of my key fobs a few weeks ago. Today the car started without the spare set. Perhaps it picked up the signal from the house but I can't explain how it started when I left the doctor's office. I figured they were in the car so I asked neighbor on the left to take a look. Nothing.
Advice needed: should I buy a new set of (very expensive) fobs in case I lose the one I have or should I risk having only one?
