Karma

My mum has a neighbour from hell (being polite here!) but today karma paid him a little visit!

Last year, he stripped a circle of bark from the bottom of five beautiful flowering cherry trees. Originally there were nine but he managed to persuade the council to chop down 4 of them.

The remaining 5 were closer to my mum’s property but he wasn’t happy with this, so he sabotaged the trees and for good measure, he made an incision to ensure that when they fell, they would fall in the direction of my mum’s bungalow. I wasn’t exaggerating when I said how horrible he was!

As the trees slowly died, they became unsafe, so it was agreed that the council would remove them. They arrived today and safely took down four of them without a hitch but guess what happened to the fifth.

It came crashing down on his fence and into his garden and fish pond. You should have seen his face :-))
