She was certainly playing hard to get - maybe not thrilled with his threadbare tail?

In the gardens of the D Manuel Palace in Évora, where I wandered while Mike did his psychotechnic test in order to renew his driving licence. Happy to discover that the palace now holds an excellent multisensory history of the city of Évora, and upstairs, the history of the discovery of all the megalithic remains in the area.

Gratefuls:
- the beauty of the gardens, jacarandas covering the ground with their lilac blossom
- watching a French comedy (never knew there was such a thing!), "Chasse Gardée", which we both enjoyed, quite funny
- deciding to go visit the Anemas, and that they got a cow that had fallen into the milking parlour, back up again
