Whitehouse

Sadly our unexpected spell of dry weather ran out today. We cycled for 43 miles, 20 or so miles in rain (some of it heavy) and strong wind. I also had a near miss with a stray lamb that jumped out in front of me. All in all a pretty miserable experience.
Once we got to Berneray, we were fortified by cake, tea, a very comfortable bunkhouse (with welcome woodburner) and an excellent evening meal. Jury is out whether I have the fortitude (or the desire) to carry on up to Stornaway.
