Ink Cap Mushrooms

A bit damp in the morning as rain past overhead, then cloudy. Another band of rain starts around coffee time, and carries on for longer than expected. So a rather late lunchtime daunder around the park. In White Lady Wood these ink cap mushrooms have appeared, and probably won't last long as some forager will pick them. The ink is just beginning to run down the stem..

Sunny spells develop in the afternoon, so a nice work walk. A small raptor flew overhead at one point. It did fly back again, but the lens on the camera wasn't good enough to get it in any detail while hovering or perched on a lamp post, but I have posted the latter as an Extra.
