A day in the life

Cikoria

Cikoriaseason is here again. The plant has been, and is useful for those who knows how to use it, the root can be used as a vegetable or as a coffee substiute (Swedes did during WwII), the flower and leaves can be used in salads, parts of the plant is used in medicin as a laxative.  When it''s sunny, the flowers are fully open and follows the sun, when it's grey, they are closed. At times we see a blue sea in the field outside our houses.

Some more playing this morning after breakfast ut mostly the time was booked by gardening (weeding) and mainly mowing.

My friend Kent works at the Folk-highschool as a math-teacher but is now mainly occupied with computer maintenance within the school, he also use to give a summer-lecture in some of his favourite subjects, this year he talked about time, the various ways of measuring time over the world through history, the conflict between Gps-time, Atom-time and mean time, some time-philosophy but also relative time and a little bit of quantum-time. Very interesting and fun but utterly confusing and completely useless on a personal level.
