Chicory

I had a wardrobe for the spare room delivered this morning, it’s a flat pack. I’ve just checked off all the pieces and I’ll put it together tomorrow. I met up with L today, I’ve not seen her for nearly 10 years, so we had a good catch over lunch at The Tickell Arms in Whittlesford. I don’t think we overstayed our welcome but they were laying tables for dinner as we left.
This chicory plant is one of many in the wildflower bed at the end of my road.
