Knottman2

By Knottman2

Here at last the second succulent added to my collection last weekend.

When I first posted this a couple of hours ago I named it as a Haworthia. Very soon afterwards I received a tactful comment from Maurice, whose site I follow with interest and pleasure, to tell me my id was not correct.

In fact it is an Aristaloe aristata.
It is found in South Africa and in several other countries in the south of that continent.

Thank you Maurice. What a rich source of knowledge can be found in Blipfoto and how generous are its members.

In my defence I have had another plant with the same foliage but which has not yet flowered and which when I bought it had a label saying Haworthia. But then you can’t always trust garden centres
