Daisy, Daisy....

We've been walking in Arniston for 3+ years, in the past year we began to meet Daisy, a rescue from Eastern Europe. She was always quite hesitant when crossing paths, unsure whether to engage and usually walking on. But as we got to know her owner for a chat, she began relaxing, although often we met with one of us arriving or leaving so it was just for a minute or 2 at a time,. If we arrived at simlar times, Daisy began waiting until we caught up to say hello to Arlo, then we'd walk our different paths.

As we arrived today, Daisy was a bit in front but out of view behind the long grass. When I asked Arlo if he could he see her, his tail went up and began looking. He dashed off, round the bend and up towards her and they began playing for 5 minutes, chasing each other through the grass, it was very sweet, they both enjoy each other's company. Not quite the same as collie on collie play, but it was lovely to see, although I don't think she's brave enough to speak to us yet.
