Stalking her prey

At la jolla shores. Can't work out what it is. Looks similar to an egret but too small and too many of them. Or some kind of ibis. But didn't think they are shore birds.

Babe is a fully trained bird "beater" dog. Her previous owner spent a lot of money on her training. When she is out she is always on the lookout for birds in bushes and trees. She never gets them. Her job is to scare them into the air so they are able to be shot at. She doesn't retrieve either. Which is sad because she will never fetch a ball/stick like most dogs. Even off the leash she can't be trusted if she sees a bird she is gone.

Slightly better day today. Turns out my dr is querying why my lab work cost so much. My insurance said my billing company had not finalized a bill so should not be billing me and my medical center says they should never have seen me in the first place as they don't do anything to do with immigration. An almighty cock up all round. To add to this I got a check for $137 for the dr visit bill in the check. I'm not complaining. It's already been cashed!
