Superstition

        Like many one of my first thoughts was the usual ritualistic things like knocking on wood and tossing spilled salt over a shoulder . . . and then thought how many children indulge in this kind of behaviour. A local one that I vaguely remember is that if you see an ambulance  you hold your collar until you see a black cat . . . My very first thought was, "No, I can't drive down to Phoenix to snap Superstition mountain." . . .

    Caught a bullfrog swimming across the beaver pond . . . he froze when he was aware of my presence (extra)
