Charming

I hadn't taken a photo all day and was at that point where I thought I might have to scrutinise the garden for something to digitise.

Thank Jaczero you came to the rescue with your superstition challenge. My mum was full of superstitions, lots which started with 'don't' - don't cross on the stairs, don't put your umbrella up indoors, don't put shoes on the table etc, but I decided to think about her superstitions which herald good fortune. As there are no black cats to hand - I found this horseshoe (provenance unknown) in P's greenhouse. Evidently it has to be hung as it is in the photo so the 'bowl' can hold the good luck - if it is hung upside down all the good luck falls away. So beware!
